Job Summary

A company is looking for a Personal Lines Property Associate Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and underwrite new business and renewal submissions across homeowners and other property lines
• Serve as an underwriting contact for appointed agents, providing support and responding to inquiries
• Provide feedback on underwriting guidelines and contribute to process improvements for efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of property underwriting experience or related personal lines insurance experience
• Expertise in risk selection and underwriting execution
• Experience using modern underwriting platforms and exposure tools
• Proficiency with software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Active California insurance license is preferred
