Job Summary
Acting as the technical lead for engineering activities, the full-time California Licensed Protection Engineer will manage design and documentation for substation protection and control systems, ensuring efficient project execution while working remotely, preferably from Northern California.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead engineering design activities for utility, industrial, and commercial substation protection and control systems
- Develop engineering documentation including schematics, logic diagrams, and calculations to support system designs
- Manage project materials and technical issue resolution while providing updates to project teams and stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's Degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in protection and control projects for utility customers
- Proficiency in software such as Easy Power, SKM Powertools, ETAP, Aspen, and EMTP
- California PE License required
- Work authorization for employment in the US is necessary
