California Licensed Provider Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

The full-time remote California Licensed Provider Enrollment Specialist will coordinate health insurance network participation requests, manage provider enrollment processes, and ensure compliance with various payer requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Completes provider payer enrollment with all identified payers in a timely manner
• Resolves enrollment issues through collaboration with providers and office staff, maintaining positive relationships
• Explains credentialing and recredentialing submission requirements to providers and practice managers, emphasizing compliance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience with payer enrollment requirements, particularly in California
• Experience with California Medicaid and Medicare enrollment for Ophthalmologists and Optometrists
• Minimum of 3 years of optometry and/or ophthalmology experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other management tools
