Job Summary
Delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care remotely, the part-time California Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop tailored treatment plans, and manage psychiatric disorders using various therapeutic approaches while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment to adults and older adults with mental health disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and manage psychiatric disorders using psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and non-pharmacologic approaches
- Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient care and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies
Required Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Board certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
- Active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California (NP103 status preferred but not required)
