Job Summary
To support a growing virtual intensive outpatient program, the part-time California Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop tailored treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality mental health care to adults and older adults in a fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment to adult and older adult populations with mental health disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and manage psychiatric disorders using a combination of psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and non-pharmacologic approaches
- Collaborate with team members and outside providers to optimize patient care and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Active and Unencumbered California NP Furnishing License
- Board Certified as an Adult or Lifespan Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
