California Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time California Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations, prescribe medications as needed, and collaborate with clients on care plans in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients via telemedicine
• Prescribe medications to manage mental health symptoms and adhere to clinical practice guidelines
• Create and collaborate on individualized care plans with clients aged 12 and up

Required qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification
• Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in California
• Minimum of one year of psychiatric practice experience required
• Understanding of Cerner is a plus
• Must reside in California to practice
