Job Summary
Delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care remotely, the full-time California Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct evaluations, develop tailored treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage psychiatric disorders in adults and older adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment to adult and older adult populations with mental health disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and manage psychiatric disorders using psychopharmacology and psychotherapy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient care and initiate referrals for interventional psychiatry when appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Board certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
- Active and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California (NP103 status preferred but not required)
