California Licensed Psychiatric Physician

Job Summary

To support a growing telepsychiatry practice, the part-time or full-time California Licensed Psychiatric Physician will conduct comprehensive evaluations, diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions, and manage medication plans for patients exclusively via secure telehealth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new patients through secure telehealth
• Diagnose and treat adult outpatient psychiatric conditions, including complex cases
• Develop and manage individualized medication management plans with ongoing monitoring

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California Physician and Surgeon license (MD or DO)
• Board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or board eligibility
• Completed ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency
• Minimum 2 years of post-residency outpatient psychiatric practice preferred
• Active DEA registration in California
