California Licensed Psychiatrist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CA Licensed Psychiatrist, Primary Care Psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide short-term treatment focused on stabilization and transition of care
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in alignment with evidence-based guidelines
• Collaborate with primary care providers and CoCM teams to ensure continuity of care and effective follow-up for patients

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in California
• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certification in Psychiatry by the relevant boards
• Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience in psychiatry
• Experience in primary care or integrated care settings
