Job Summary

A company is looking for a Public Law Attorney, General.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and draft contracts, ordinances, resolutions, legal opinions, and real property instruments
• Advise public agency staff and elected/appointed officials on municipal and public law matters
• Handle matters related to Public Records Act, Brown Act, Public Contract Code, and public works construction

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in public or private sector public law
• Knowledge of Public Records Act, Brown Act, Public Contract Code, and California Housing Legislation
• Experience with real property, development, entitlements, and public works construction
• Strong research, drafting, and advisory skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional, fun, and mentorship-oriented environment
