Job Summary

To support California's county behavioral health plans, the fully remote California Licensed QA/QI Clinician will lead quality assurance, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives while conducting clinical audits, analyzing performance metrics, and developing training resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support quality assurance, compliance, and utilization management initiatives for county behavioral health plans
  • Conduct clinical documentation reviews and quality audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Analyze data and trends to develop recommendations for improving clinical quality and operational performance
Required Qualifications
  • Current, active, and unrestricted California clinical license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist (PhD/PsyD)
  • Minimum of three years of experience in quality assurance, quality improvement, or compliance within California's public behavioral health system
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Department of Health Care Services regulatory requirements and county behavioral health operations
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and apply behavioral health laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new technology platforms quickly
