California Licensed Quality Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Medicare Advantage STAR Program, the full-time California Licensed Quality Analyst will analyze performance data, manage quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with CMS STAR rating goals while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze STAR measure performance for various metrics including HEDIS and CAHPS
• Conduct root-cause analysis to identify performance gaps and recommend targeted interventions
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement quality improvement strategies

Required qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Quality Analyst within a health plan or healthcare organization
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of CMS STAR Ratings methodology and related quality programs
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau
• Familiarity with claims, encounter, and EMR data
