Job Summary
To support the Medicare Advantage STAR Program, the full-time California Licensed Quality Analyst will analyze performance data, manage quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with CMS STAR rating goals while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze STAR measure performance for various metrics including HEDIS and CAHPS
- Conduct root-cause analysis to identify performance gaps and recommend targeted interventions
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement quality improvement strategies
Required qualifications
- Experience as a Senior Quality Analyst within a health plan or healthcare organization
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of CMS STAR Ratings methodology and related quality programs
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau
- Familiarity with claims, encounter, and EMR data
