Job Summary
Providing expert consultation on clinical quality and patient safety, the per diem California Licensed Quality Improvement Consultant will evaluate and implement evidence-based guidelines, manage quality improvement initiatives, and analyze clinical data remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducts advanced statistical analysis and develops quality improvement metrics to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes
- Facilitates education on compliance methods and regulatory requirements while serving as a liaison with regulatory agencies
- Implements corrective action plans and conducts root cause analyses to address areas of improvement and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Required qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in a clinical setting, healthcare administration, or a directly related field
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field
- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with databases and spreadsheets or continuous quality improvement (CQI) tools
