Job Summary

Providing legal counsel on a variety of transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will assess legal risks, negotiate agreements, conduct legal research, and offer practical legal advice while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts and oversees business-specific projects, ensuring adherence to policies and promoting effective decision-making
• Participates in the creation, review, and negotiation of complex legal documents, serving as a primary contact for clients and legal professionals
• Performs in-depth legal research and analysis, interpreting laws and regulations to inform strategic business decisions

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
• State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
• Experience in handling complex legal matters related to real estate
• Demonstrated ability to manage legal risks and compliance issues
