Job Summary

Providing expert legal counsel on transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will negotiate agreements, conduct legal research, and assess legal risks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct and oversee business-specific projects, ensuring adherence to procedures and policies
• Prepare, draft, and negotiate complex legal documents, serving as a primary contact for clients and legal professionals
• Perform in-depth legal research and analysis to inform strategic decisions and mitigate legal risks

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
• State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
• Experience with complex remediation and/or compliance projects is preferred
