Job Summary

Providing expert legal counsel on transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will negotiate agreements, conduct legal research, and assess legal risks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts and oversees business-specific projects, applying deep expertise in real estate law and ensuring adherence to procedures and policies
• Participates in the preparation, drafting, and negotiation of complex legal documents, serving as a primary contact for clients and legal professionals
• Assesses legal risks and provides guidance on compliance considerations, collaborating with internal and external counsel on complex legal matters

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
• State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
• Experience in negotiating and drafting real estate-related agreements
• Advanced knowledge of legal principles, business risks, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to analyze complex legal documents and conduct in-depth legal research
