California Licensed Real Estate Counsel
Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will negotiate agreements, conduct legal research, and assess legal risks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft complex legal documents related to real estate transactions
- Conduct legal research and analyze judicial decisions to inform business strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess legal risks and develop mitigation strategies
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent legal degree
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Active State Bar License in a state where the company operates
- Experience with complex remediation and compliance projects is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of contract law and legal documentation
