Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will manage leasing, land use, and construction issues while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate legal risks and develop strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Conducts legal research and analysis, interpreting laws and regulations related to real estate transactions
- Prepares, drafts, and negotiates complex legal documents and agreements while providing actionable feedback to clients
- Assesses legal risks and develops strategies to support organizational goals and compliance with regulations
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent legal degree
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
- Experience in negotiating and drafting legal agreements related to real estate
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the real estate sector
