Job Summary

Providing expert legal counsel on transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will negotiate agreements, conduct legal research, and assess legal risks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Negotiate and draft complex legal documents, providing actionable feedback to clients and legal professionals
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
• Assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
• State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
• Experience with complex remediation and compliance projects is preferred
