Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will advise on leasing, land use, and construction while assessing legal risks and proposing solutions in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conducts legal research, interprets laws, and analyzes judicial decisions to provide actionable legal advice
- Prepares, drafts, and negotiates complex legal documents and agreements, serving as a primary contact for clients and legal professionals
- Assesses legal risks and develops strategies to mitigate them, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on legal matters
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
- Experience in real estate law, including leasing and land use
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry
