California Licensed Real Estate Counsel

Job Summary

To provide expert legal counsel on a variety of transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will negotiate agreements, conduct legal research, and assess legal risks impacting business operations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Negotiate and draft complex legal documents related to real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to inform business strategies and mitigate legal risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive projects forward and provide actionable legal advice

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
• Active State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
• Experience in real estate law, including leasing and land use matters
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal projects and provide strategic legal guidance
