Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will handle leasing, land use, and construction issues while working remotely and assessing legal risks impacting business operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducts legal research and analysis, interpreting laws and regulations to provide actionable advice
- Negotiates and drafts complex legal documents, ensuring compliance and addressing legal risks
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop legal strategies and solutions for business needs
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
- Experience in real estate law, including leasing and land use
- Strong understanding of legal compliance and risk management
- Proven ability to negotiate and draft legal agreements effectively
