Job Summary
Providing comprehensive legal counsel on transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will negotiate agreements, conduct legal research, and assess legal risks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft complex legal documents related to real estate transactions
- Conduct legal research and provide actionable insights to senior business stakeholders
- Assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them in collaboration with internal and external counsel
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent legal degree
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Active State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
- Experience in real estate law, including leasing and land use matters
- Proven ability to manage complex legal projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
