Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on a variety of transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will negotiate agreements, conduct legal research, and assess legal risks while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft complex legal documents related to real estate transactions
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop legal strategies and mitigate risks
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of legal practice experience
- Active State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
- Experience in transactional real estate law, including leasing and land use
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal projects and provide actionable legal advice
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis of regulatory compliance matters
