Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on a variety of transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will negotiate agreements, assess legal risks, and offer strategic solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducts legal research and analysis to interpret laws, regulations, and judicial decisions impacting real estate transactions
- Prepares, drafts, and negotiates complex legal documents and agreements, serving as a primary contact for clients and legal professionals
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop legal strategies that mitigate risks and advance organizational goals
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent legal degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- Active State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
- Experience in handling complex legal issues related to real estate transactions
- Proven expertise in contract law and legal compliance
