Job Summary
Providing expert legal counsel on transactional real estate matters, the full-time California Licensed Real Estate Counsel will negotiate agreements, conduct legal research, and assess legal risks impacting business operations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducts and oversees business-specific projects, ensuring adherence to policies and promoting effective decision-making
- Participates in the creation, review, and negotiation of complex legal documents, serving as a primary contact for clients and legal professionals
- Assesses legal risks and provides guidance, collaborating with internal and external counsel on complex legal matters
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
- State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
- Experience with complex remediation and/or compliance projects is preferred
