California Licensed Referral Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator, Specialty Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate prescription prior authorizations on behalf of prescriber's offices
• Coordinate and confirm patients' prescription deliveries
• Act as a liaison between medical staff, outpatient pharmacies, insurance providers, and patients

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, some college preferred
• Certified CPhT or licensed Medical Assistant preferred
• One year experience in specialty pharmacy or medical office preferred
• Participation in compliance program objectives
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
