Job Summary
To ensure efficient operations and patient satisfaction, the full-time California Licensed Referral Coordinator will manage referral tracking and scheduling, coordinate patient referrals and treatment, and maintain positive relationships with patients and staff in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and track patient referrals, including submission, scheduling, and follow-up
- Communicate effectively with office staff, payors, and patients to resolve issues and ensure a seamless referral process
- Work closely with the Office Manager to troubleshoot problems and enhance patient satisfaction
Required qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or hospital setting
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding systems and medical terminology
- Experience in healthcare marketing, community outreach, customer service, or public relations preferred
- Spanish or Chinese bilingual preferred
