California Licensed Referral Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising day-to-day activities in a full-time capacity, the California Licensed Referral Supervisor will implement protocols, manage complex referrals, and oversee relationships with high-value clinicians while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of protocols and policies for referral management
• Manage escalations of complex referrals and maintain relationships with referring clinicians and organizations
• Establish work priorities and manage team workload to meet operational goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted
• At least 5 years of recent relevant experience in healthcare or referral management
• Deep understanding of the Epic electronic health record and Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and legislative guidelines, including HIPAA and EMTALA
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and engage a team
