California Licensed Regional Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regional Medical Director to lead clinician teams and drive clinical excellence in obesity medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, mentor, and support a group of 30-40 clinicians, including physicians and advanced practice professionals
• Develop and implement clinical protocols to ensure high-quality care and adherence to evidence-based practices
• Promote a positive team culture and address patient or clinician concerns in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• ABIM certified endocrinologist or ABOM certification
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical management experience with at least 10 clinicians
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including 3 years in obesity medicine
• Proven experience in telemedicine practice management
