Job Summary
To drive value-based care transformation, the full-time California Licensed Regional Medical Officer will oversee Market Medical Directors, mentor clinical teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance practice performance and healthcare delivery in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Train and mentor Market Medical Directors to improve their engagement with primary care practices
- Review performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement in clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with various departments to align on value-based care strategies and clinical initiatives
Required qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification preferred in a primary care specialty
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role within an ACO or similar organization
- Active medical license and board certification
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- In-depth understanding of value-based care and healthcare cost management processes
