Job Summary
To provide technical leadership and strategic guidance for complex environmental remediation projects, the part-time California Licensed Remediation Expert will serve as a senior technical resource, mentoring staff and supporting project delivery for clients in the oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, energy, and industrial sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical lead and subject matter expert for environmental remediation projects involving soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor impacts
- Provide technical oversight and quality reviews for remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial designs
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to project managers, engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience in environmental consulting with significant remediation expertise
- Demonstrated expertise in contaminated site investigation and regulatory closure
- Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Professional Geologist (PG) registration preferred
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, including RCRA and CERCLA
