Job Summary
To support escrow operations, the part-time contract Remote Online Notary will verify signers and notarize documents using audio-visual technology while working remotely from anywhere in the US.
Key responsibilities
- Review and verify signer's identity according to state requirements
- Notarize and record documents using approved online technology
- Refer questions or concerns to Escrow Officers without providing advice on processes
Required qualifications
- Must be a Notary Public with a valid Driver's License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in reviewing and notarizing documents
- Familiarity with real estate and escrow terminology
- Working knowledge of fundamental concepts and practices in the field
