Job Summary
To support patients receiving Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy, the full-time California Licensed Respiratory Specialist will coordinate equipment set-ups, provide customer support, ensure compliance with documentation, and promote successful therapy outcomes through patient education and follow-up in a field operations role.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate PAP equipment set-up appointments and provide patient education on equipment usage and therapy expectations
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and manage compliance with healthcare and insurance requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely service delivery and address patient inquiries and concerns
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in customer service, healthcare administration, or related fields
- Experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or sleep therapy preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines related to PAP therapy
- Completion of a state-approved training program on medical device distribution and handling standards
