California Licensed Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Revenue Accountant to join their accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities, including booking journal entries and ensuring compliance with accounting policies
• Perform account reconciliations and flux analysis, identifying variances
• Manage accounts receivable reserves and review invoicing for correct revenue recognition

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate revenue accounting (SaaS experience preferred)
• Understanding of the Order-to-Cash cycle and related risks and controls
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606
• Experience with enterprise applications such as SalesForce, Zuora, and Oracle
