Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full prior authorization lifecycle and maintain knowledge of payer requirements to ensure timely reimbursement
• Prepare and submit clean claims, investigate denials, and follow up on aging accounts receivable
• Serve as the operational contact for payer communications and support reconciliation efforts while identifying trends for process improvement

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management, specifically in billing and denial management
• Experience with Medi-Cal managed care billing and encounter-based reimbursement models
• Strong understanding of claim submission workflows and denial root cause analysis
• Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills, including data exports and pivot tables
• Proficiency with revenue cycle systems and EHR platforms
