California Licensed Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle operations in orthopedics, the full-time California Licensed Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage billing and collections, review and submit claims, and resolve complex account issues while working onsite in Torrance, California.

Key responsibilities

• Review and submit claims to payors, perform account follow-up activities, and update patient account information
• Serve as a technical resource and liaison between clinical departments and revenue cycle services, addressing inquiries and ensuring resolution of accounts
• Identify and advance new services for coding accuracy and participate in group problem-solving during specialty clinical huddles

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college-level courses in finance, business, or health insurance preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or hospital revenue cycle billing experience required, with a preference for professional billing experience
• Experience in orthopedics is a plus
