California Licensed Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle management for orthopedic services, the full-time California Licensed Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage billing and collections, review claims, and resolve complex account issues while working onsite in Los Angeles, California.

Key responsibilities

• Review and submit claims to payors, perform account follow-up activities, and process payments and credits
• Develop and maintain relationships with clinical departments and patients, addressing inquiries and ensuring account resolution
• Make recommendations for operational improvements and stay informed on coding and reimbursement regulations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college courses in finance, business, or health insurance preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or hospital revenue cycle billing experience required
• Experience in orthopedic billing is a plus
