California Licensed Revenue Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing revenue accounting activities, the contract Revenue Manager will support the close process and ensure compliance with accounting standards while working remotely in California.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly revenue workpapers, including reserves, journal entries, and revenue workbooks
• Support the monthly and quarterly revenue close process to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Research and document accounting treatment for revenue matters in accordance with ASC 606

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements related to revenue and receivables
• Proven ability to manage and execute a complex monthly and quarterly close process
• Advanced computer system skills, including Microsoft Office, Oracle, and Power BI
• Experience in a technical accounting role within the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
