California Licensed Risk Adjustment Educator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Risk Adjustment Coding Educator (Temporary).

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as the clinical coding subject matter expert and lead coding resource across the organization
• Provides education to providers on clinical coding standards
• Coordinates and leads the Alliance Coding Workgroup

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC)
• Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Business, Nursing, or a related field
• A minimum of eight years of experience, including three years of clinical experience and eight years of risk adjustment coding experience
• Strong background in clinical coding and documentation education
• Experience leading cross-functional workgroups
