California Licensed Risk Director

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and delivery of risk and analytics capabilities, the full-time California Licensed Risk Director will engage with clients and prospects, oversee advanced analytics delivery, and drive client retention and growth in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Owns and leads the Southern California Risk & Analytics strategy, aligning with local client needs and growth priorities
• Actively participates in client meetings, translating complex data into actionable insights for HR, finance, and consultants
• Oversees advanced analytics delivery, including financial modeling, funding strategy evaluation, and benchmarking for clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 10+ years of experience in health benefits, analytics, actuarial, or risk-related roles
• 5+ years of experience leading teams or managing complex client projects
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling expertise, particularly in funding strategies and risk modeling
• Life & Health insurance license preferred
