California Licensed Risk Management Director

Job Summary

To oversee corporate risk management strategies, the full-time California Licensed Risk Management Director will assess and manage corporate risks, negotiate insurance provisions in contracts, and handle the placement and renewal of corporate insurance policies in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and implement risk management policies and best practices across the organization
• Manage the insurance renewal process and coordinate activities with brokers and insurers
• Analyze claims and develop strategies to improve risk performance and loss prevention

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related discipline
• Ten or more years of experience in a Risk Management leadership role
• Expertise in analyzing risks and developing risk management programs
• Experience with all lines of coverage and managing insurance broker relationships
• Prior experience working for an insurance broker
