Job Summary
Providing acute mental health crisis evaluation for patients of all ages, the PRN California Licensed RN Behavioral Health will conduct assessments, support patient placement, and offer mental health support while working remotely for a flexible schedule that includes a mix of days and nights.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct rapid assessments and maintain accurate patient information as the primary point of contact for eCare Behavioral Health services
- Perform psychosocial assessments, including risk evaluations, and collaborate with care providers to determine appropriate care levels
- Assist telemedicine sites with patient placement for psychiatric inpatient beds and develop safety plans for individuals in the community
Required qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license required, with preference for California licensure
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred
- At least two years of Behavioral Health nursing experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHN) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) preferred
