California Licensed RN Case Reviewer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN (1099 Contractor) Case Reviewer position.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of approximately 100 cases per month with a quality expectation of 95% or better
• Provide objective clinical utilization and peer review activities for cases submitted for independent external review
• Respond to supervisor correspondence within 48 hours

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Emergency Room, Urgent Care, Critical Care, Medical/Surgical, or a combination of these areas
• Utilization Management experience is preferred
• Current, unrestricted Compact Registered Nurse license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Designated workstation with access to reliable internet connection and computer equipment
