California Licensed SAP BASIS Specialist

Job Summary

Providing technical and architecture design support for enterprise SAP solutions, the fully remote California Licensed SAP BASIS Specialist will manage administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of SAP ecosystems, including S/4HANA and various cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead primary SAP BASIS administration for major enterprise applications and provide 24/7 on-call support as needed
• Coordinate SAP system installs, upgrades, patches, and perform system sizing and capacity planning
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot system issues and ensure application availability per Service Level Agreements

Required Qualifications

• Five years of experience as an SAP BASIS administrator supporting both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks
• Experience with at least two major SAP Cloud go-live implementations or upgrade projects, including S/4HANA migration
• Proficiency in administration of SAP and non-SAP enterprise solutions, both on-premises and cloud
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is desirable
• Current SAP certifications related to the systems outlined in the scope of work are required
