California Licensed Science Instructor

Job Summary

To support a growing educational program, the part-time California Licensed Science Instructor will teach synchronous online courses, plan engaging instruction, and ensure compliance with college policies while working remotely from California.

Key responsibilities

• Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams, maximizing student learning and engagement
• Demonstrate mastery of subject matter and stay current through professional development activities
• Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional policies

Required qualifications

• Appropriate credential, license, or certification in the relevant field
• At least three years of experience in the respective field or two years of teaching experience
• Official transcripts of bachelor's (or higher) degree and relevant coursework for General Education Instructors
• Experience with synchronous online teaching preferred
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and learning technologies such as Canvas
