California Licensed Scoring Associate

Job Summary

To support the evaluation of School Administrator assessments, the part-time California Licensed Scoring Associate will evaluate test responses, participate in consensus scoring activities, and address bias in scoring while working remotely from Sacramento, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Administrator candidates
• Internalize scoring standards and engage in consensus scoring discussions with other scorers
• Recognize and discuss various types of bias and implement strategies to reduce personal biases in scoring

Required qualifications

• Must hold an Administrative Services Credential
• Minimum of three (3) years of current or recent experience as an Administrator in California
• Alternatively, three (3) years of recent teaching experience in a Commission-approved program of professional preparation in administrative services
