California Licensed Scoring Associate

Job Summary

Offering a part-time remote opportunity, the California Licensed Scoring Associate will evaluate responses to test questions by California teacher candidates, engage in consensus scoring activities, and maintain scoring standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by California teacher candidates
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in discussions with other scorers
• Recognize and discuss various types of bias and implement strategies to reduce them in scoring

Required qualifications

• Hold a Teaching Credential in California corresponding to the content field with at least three years of teaching experience
• Be a current California resident with eligibility to work in the United States
• Possess basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse)
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Maintain a confidential work environment
