California Licensed Scoring Associate
Job Summary
To support the evaluation of teacher candidates, the part-time California Licensed Scoring Associate will remotely evaluate submitted artifacts, engage in consensus scoring activities, and ensure adherence to established scoring standards.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate artifacts submitted by teacher candidates for various education subjects
- Internalize scoring standards and participate in discussions with other scorers
- Recognize and address various types of bias in scoring practices
Required qualifications
- Hold an educator certification with at least three years of teaching experience or be a National Board-Certified Educator
- Experience as a scorer in the relevant content field is acceptable
- Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse) are required
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to maintain a confidential work environment
