Job Summary
To support educational assessment initiatives, the part-time California Licensed Scoring Associate will evaluate responses from teacher candidates in various subjects, engage in scoring discussions, and maintain quality standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate responses to test questions by California teacher candidates
- Internalize scoring standards and participate in consensus scoring activities
- Recognize and discuss various types of bias and implement strategies to reduce them in scoring
Required qualifications
- Hold a Teaching Credential in California corresponding to the content field with at least three years of teaching experience
- Be a resident of California with eligibility to work in the United States
- Possess basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse)
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
